U13 WIN LOCAL DERBY

Newburgh 1 - 8 Falkirk
The U13 girls faced Stirling side Newburgh this morning at Forthbank astroturf. Falkirk struggled to adapt to the smaller pitch but managed to go one up 10 minutes into the game through Kayleigh McCann. Newburgh responded well to equalise minutes later as a misplaced Falkirk pass was intercepted and sloted past stand in keeper Susie Malloy. The first half saw 3 further goals, a double from Corry Cairns and a long range strike from Sian Meanie. The second half was dominated by Falkirk with goals from Linzi Hunter, Rachel Donaldson and Susie Malloy (2).
Next week the girls aim to continue their unbeaten run when they face Arsenal North at Sunnyside (11 am Kick Off).
