Falkirk LFC 17s v Tullibody Community Club

"Our Secret Reporter" reporting ....
With players on International duty and call offs for personal reasons, Tullibody Community Club, though new to the league were sure to give the girls a tough game.
The Blues started off with Lorraine playing in a forward role with Rebecca taking up her familiar place between the sticks. Right from the start the visitors were up against it, which set the pattern for the rest of play. Lyndsay scored straight from a corner a sign of more to come. Sara knocked one in from close range followed by Laura chipping the keeper from a Lorraine cross. The Tullibody keeper had a great save from a powerful shot but had no chance from an exquisite Lyndsay free kick into the top corner.
At half time Lorraine took over in goal and Rebecca moved to right back and controlled her wing throughout. The away team started off the second half with determination but after their goal being under non stop pressure including a great shot from Robyn, the keeper fumbled and Susie pounced from close range. Lynsday tucked one away in the bottom corner to complete her hat trick followed by Gillian scoring with a header.
Sweeper Jillian limped off with what looked like a thigh strain, hopefully she’s fit for next week as she’d be badly missed. Falkirk then went to three players at the back and Emma playing out off position at left back, looked very composed and moved into cover when required.
Linzi makes run after run down the right flank, her work rate is incredible.
Lynsay scores her 4th once again top corner, closely followed by Gillian this time with a shot which gave the keeper no chance. Tullibody broke away late in the game, just as the striker was about to pull the trigger Lorraine scooped it from her feet.
The final goal came once again from Lyndsay, she was on fire.
Great effort girls keep it up you’ll be hard to beat.
