Under 17's Push League Leaders (March 21, 2006)
The Under-17 girls travelled to Edinburgh on Sunday to face league leaders Hibs.
The game proved to be a fantastic match but Falkirk had a shakey start and lost a goal after only 5 minutes.
But after that they matched Hibs throughout the first half and had a couple of chances themselves. 1 - 0 at half-time.
Hibs came out strong in the second half but Falkirk battled hard and some amazing saves from goalkeeper Stef Wells kept Hibs out. But Hibs got a second goal 60 minutes into the game after a cross wasn't cleared properly.
But again Falkirk dug deep and the game ended 2 - 0 to Hibs.
The game was marred by a Hibs sending off 10 minutes from time when one of their players struck out at the Falkirk Captain in a completely unprovoked attack! Luckily Jennifer was unhurt and the offending Hibs player sent off.
Falkirk now travel to play Paisley Saints on Sunday in a change to the fixtures.
