U13s Defeat Falkirk Futures in League Cup

The U13s played Falkirk Futures in the league cup at Sunnyside and looked to reverse the result of their first encounter thsi season.
However it was Futures who scored straight from kick off when we switched off and 15 mins later doubled their lead 0-2.
But it was good to see the girls not giving up and they showed determination with having most of the possession and creating numerous chances in the first half. Minutes before half time we scored after some confusion in the oppostion's box when one of their players walked off the pitch injured and their keeper was distracted. However we played on as the referee had not stopped play and this goal gave the girls a much deserved boost. A minute later we made it 2-2 and the girls came off at half time elated.
In the second half we played against the wind but again we created chances but just couldn't score. However in the last minute Rebecca Read scored her hat trick and gave us a well deserved win.
