U13s Lose to Motherwell (August 29, 2009) The u13s travelled to Wishaw to play Scottish Cup champions, Motherwell, knowing they had a hard game in front of them.
However it was Falkirk who started the stronger team and had a couple of chances within the first few minutes to score. The Motherwell keeper pulled off some great saves to keep the score level. Motherwell started playing their usual fast passing game and scored 2 goals in quick succession midway through the first half and on 25mins they were awarded a dubious penalty 3-0 before scoring again just before half time 4-0
In the second half after losing another goal early on 5-0, Falkirk then held their own for the rest of the game and managed to get a consolation goal after Carly's throw in landed nicely for Corri who scored from just inside the box. 5-1
Final Score: Motherwell Girls 5 - 1 Falkirk Ladies
Scorer: Corri
Squad: Laura, Mel, Stef (Keira), Rachel (Carly), Corri, Shalana, Colette,(Melissa), (Sarah)
