Falkirk started off the brighter of the two teams had a good attack within the first 5 mins, a good lay off from Eva fell to Lauren Hastings who's shot went just over the bar. In the 8th min a throw from Natasha found Shona, she passed to Eva who layed it off to Lauren Fraser and her strike went crashing into the net - great goal 1 - 0. Falkirk were playing good attacking football and in the 17th min Eva saw a good shot fly inches over the bar. Alana made a good run in the 19th min and won a corner, a great delivery from Hannah found Emma B who's shot hit the bar. In the 20th min Airdrie had their first attack and Kimbo pulled off a great save to keep Falkirk in the lead. Despite Falkirk totally dominating the first half the scorline stayed at 1 - 0.
Half Time: Falkirk 1 v 0 Airdrie
Airdire came out fighting in the second half and forced an early corner which was well cleared by Natasha. Falkirk were taking their time to settle down and gave away a free kick on the edge of the box. The Airdrie striker hit it well but Kimbo pulled off another great save. In the 49th min a good clearence from Hannah had Eva on the chase, she cut the ball back across the box and Shona knocked the ball into the empty net 2 - 0. Some good defending by Alana in the 62nd min saw the ball fall to Lauren Fraser. She sent a defence splitting pass through for Eva who calmly slotted the ball past the onrushing keeper 3 - 0. Falkirk were really pressing Airdrie now and in the 65th min Lauren hastings squared it to Hannah who controlled it on her chest and sent a perfect volley into the bottom right hand corner of the net - super goal 4 - 0. 68th min saw good play from Lauren and Shona who returned the favour and squared it for Eva who tapped the ball into the empty net. 5 - 0. 74th min Falkirk won a corner, Airdrie cleared it straight to Amy Purves who had a great first touch and then sent a super strike towards goal that went inches wide.

A well deserved victory for Falkirk who were completly in control of the game.
