Four of the U11s travelled to Broadwood Stadium on Sun 26th April to compete in a small tournament and managed to win 2 games and lost 2. All four girls played well with every one of them scoring. Unfortunately with no subs to replace any of the girls if they got injured the other 3 had to play on during two of the games when Leona and Caity both were injured.

Both Sophie and Cherise played every minute of each game and worked tirelessly throughout the tournament. Caity suffered from a bruised shoulder which slowed her down and Leona took a fall in the second game which resulted in her breaking her wrist but she played on regardless after taking a few minutes rest.

 

Well done to all the girls for their spirited display and especially to Leona. Hope you recover quickly Leona .
