U13s Remain Unbeaten in League (April 25, 2009) The u13s travelled to Little Kerse to play Falkirk Academy Reds and were 5-0 up within 15 mins with Colette scoring all five. However it was great team work which resulted in us taking an early lead as well as Colette's composed finishing. Rachel scored twice before the end of the first half to make it 0 - 7 before the Academy Reds scored twice to make it 2- 7 at half time. The Academy Reds started the second half strong and managed to score another goal 3 - 7 but then we came back again and 2 more goals from Rachel, 1 from Colette and Shalana making the final score 3 - 11. Overall this was a geat result with all the squad getting game time. Mel and Stef were solid in defence and Keira was outstanding in centre mid. Rachel,Colette and Shalana controlled the rest of the park with ease.Shalana could have scored a few more with a bit more conviction when striking the ball and Sophie was unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions but she was closed down quickly in the box .
