17's Friendly (February 06, 2009)
Match Report by Coach Doc:
Falkirk travelled to Glagow to play Rangers 17's in a friendly match tonight that saw Ranger scoring from a corner within the 1st minute!
Then the girls started to believe in themselves and got into the game and played really well and dominated parts of it. They realised that they were up against a much fitter team, full of Scottish internationals.
Half time 1-0
Nic had a good talk at half-time and said how proud he was of the girls. The second half game was much the same for the first 10-15 minutes then corner to Rangers - goal! But they didn't let their heads go down and played some good stuff. However Falkirk tired the last 10 minutes. Rangers put ball in box and there was a goalmouth scramble that led to a 3rd goal.
Still their heads didn't go down game finished 3-0.
Coach Doc says : "Once again I was so proud of them. Just need the girls to keep up the good work and they will get our rewards."
