Easy Sunday Win

The U17 team played their first league match on Sunday as the second half of the season went ahead with the league split. Unfortunately the Falkirk team finished 5th meaning they will now face the bottom half teams in re-matches.
So the first game on a lovely Sunday was against Boroughmuir Girls and although the coaches knew that after their 17-0 win over the girls earlier in the season they still wanted the girls to concentrate and to not go through the motions.
The game proved to be one-way traffic as the Edinburgh side are still clearly learning the game but showed real spirit throughout and never gave up during the match. Falkirk dominated from start to finish and ended clear winners 13-0 but Coach Doc felt that they could have done much better and wasted alot of chances. However he was very happy that all his team got the chance for a good run-out and that they showed their opponents respect for their efforts.
