U13's hit 16 on route to League Cup Final (May 14, 2008)
The U13 squad travelled to Stirling for the second time in  5 days to play Newburgh Girls in a League Cup Semi Final tie.  Falkirk started well with Shelby Kearney hitting the back of the net within the first 4 minutes of the game.  Falkirks attack on the Newbugh goal remained throughout the match as the girls put 16 goals past the Newburgh side.

Goal scorers

Shelby Kearney x 6
Kayleigh McCann x 3
Nicole McPhee x 2
Shalana McConnon x 2
Rachael Donaldson x2
Corri Cairns x1

Falkirk played great football throughout the game which was a joy for all to watch.  The girls remained focused for the full 50 minutes and their quick passing and movment proved too much for the Stirling side.

The girls will play the final two League matches of the season within the next 9 days.  The teams will go into Saturdays game against Motherwell with great confidence to take a further 3 points.

The next two matches are very important as two wins will see the U13s take the U13 League title.  All support from parent, players, club officials would be greatly appreciated.
