Murieston 1 - 2 Falkirk

Falkirk Under 13's travelled to Livingston today to face Murieston. The young Bairns were up for todays challenge and started the game off well. A couple of good chances for Falkirk however they weren't able to convert them.

Murieston to be fair didn't have many chances, however not long before half time, they opened the scoring from a corner. A bit of confusion in the Falkirk area and Murieston cashed in on it.

The second half started off positively again for Falkirk, and with a great run up the left wing from Nicola Docherty and a smart pass, Laura Glegg put the ball in the back of the net. A lovely strike from the right midfielder, and her first goal for Falkirk Girls.

Again Falkirk were piling on the pressure and the provider of the Falkirks first goal, Nicola Docherty found the net for Falkirks second.

With eight minutes to go, Falkirk held strong and pushed for a third goal, however to no avail. The game ended Murieston 1, Falkirk 2.
