The U13 team took another well deserved 3 points from a Cumbernauld side when Cumbernauld Cosmos visited Falkirk on Saturday morning. The U13s ruled the game from the first to the last whistle and ran out 6-0 winners. The games first goal game came in 13 minutes as Rachael Donaldson delivered a great ball from the right, which Louise Green finished superbly. Kayleigh McCann made it 2 -0 within 2 minutes as she recieved the ball from Falkirk goalkeepr , Shelby Kearney, and drove at the Cosmos defence. McCann walked through the opposition and calmly slotted the ball past the Cosmo's goalkeeper. Captain Aimee Thomoson showed great technique and got the third goal 5 minutes from half time with a long range shot which hit the back of the net with ease.

Within one minute of the re-start striker Louise Green wrapped the points up for Falkirk while grabbing her second goal of the game. Louise received an early ball from Nicole McPhee on the left and volleyed past the goalkeeper. McCann got her second goal of the game striking from the edge of the box and young goalkeeper Laura Mackie replaced Kearney with 20 minutes remaining. Nicole McPhee added to the goal feast with 10 minutes to go to complete the days scoring.

Another great victory for our youngest team and the title challange in now on course. The girls showed great composure and scored some fantastic goals. Falkirk kept great posession of the ball and created many changes. Shelby Kearney made a good save in the first half when she came out and smothered the ball. The back two pairing of Thomson and Cairns were rarely challanged and McCannin in midfield boosed the game with another commanding display. Rachael Donaldson on the right and Nicole McPhee on the left of midefild played some exciting football and posed a big threat to the Cosmo's defence with their great pace and deliveries into the box. Louise Green bagged another 2 goals today which was great to see. All squad members including trialist Rhiannon Walsh got game time. New signing Shalana McConnon and Jasmine Tetsil came on for the last 20 minutes adding to their game time and experience.
