Red Team Hit 10! (October 06, 2007)
The Falkirk U15 Red team had a great weekend as they put 10 goals past Newburgh Girls from Stirling. Putting the results of the last few games behind them the team were determined to play a strong match and hopefully pick up their second win of the season.
From the start the Falkirk Girls were on the attack and put pressure on the Newburgh defense and this ended up the way of the game. Although the Falkirk defense had to be on their toes as the Newburgh strikers were very fast and forced goalkeeper Ellise and centre-halves Alice & Laura into some great saves and tackles.
But on the day Falkirk proved too strong and scored 10 goals without conceding a single goal. Dion McCusker bagged a double hat-trick with other coming from Mehan McClure (2), Robyn Graham & Laura NImmo.
The team now has a 3 week break from games due to school holidays.
