Under 15 Red Team Play 1st Game (August 09, 2007)
The Falkirk Girls U15 Red team faced their first competitive opponents tonight when they played the Falkirk Blue team in a friendly match at Naylor Road.
The game gave the 3 coaches the opportunity to see how the girls' fitness levels were progressing and to try some girls in different positions. Although the team ended well beaten by the Blue side much could be taken from the game & lessons learned on what needs to be done in preparation for the start of the season.
The whole team performed well in their first-ever 11-a-side match and they are looking forward to the Broxburn tournament at the weekend to give them more experience and practice.
