Team Coaches
Since its formation in 1993 Falkirk have made a concerted effort to use the expertise and experience within the club for its coaches. Senior players (and sometimes youth players) are encouraged to go through SFA Coach Education Courses and to then put those certificates into practice through working with the youth teams. Parents are not exempt from this friendly pressure either as a steady source of coaching staff has emerged from the player’s parents.
Currently the club has 9 main coaches working with the 4 age group teams.
Shirley and Jenny are current members of our Senior Ladies squad and have been with Falkirk for at least 8 years. Fiona and Shirley are two of our founder members as they started aged 10 in our very first Under-13 team back in 1993.
David formally took over coaching the Senior Ladies in June 2007 when he left Queen's Park LFC after working with them for 3 seasons. He has a long history within football as a player and a coach and is looking forward to the challenge of taking Falkirk Ladies into the Premiere League.
Alan Palmer has coached with many womens teams - most recently he coached Newburgh Ladies for many years including their run in the Premier League.
Alison is a founder member of the club and was instrumental in its creation back in 1993. Over the past 15 years she has coached every age group and watched the girls move up through the age groups and onto International duty.
Annmarie is a former International-level player and has played for teams such as Spartan Ladies and Stewarton which then became Clyde Ladies. She only began coaching when Falkirk formed a second U15 team back in 2007.
